With the original water pump below 4700 rpm, the pump has a very slow circulation speed, which is caused by the large gap between the rotor and the pump cover. The result is an enormous reduction in performance and comfort for everyone who uses their MV Agusta motorcycle every day or only for the classic Sunday ride. For example, in summer you just have to get stuck in traffic jams or stop at a traffic light so that the temperature rises to 115 to 117 degrees. In order to then reduce the temperature to 90 degrees again, several kilometers of continuous speed are required, which is not always possible (especially under city conditions). The water pump is CNC-machined from 7075 T6 aluminum.
